What's the difference between Booster Pro and Booster Pro X2?

Booster Pro X2 features upgraded dual-head technology with 2X power output and 2X electrodes, along with new Dual Mode, Sheet Mask Boost Mode, and AI-powered personalized care through the AGE-R App.

What are the new Dual Mode, Mask Mode, and AI Mode features?

Dual Mode lets you combine two modes at the same time, allowing you to target multiple skin concerns in a single routine while saving time. Dual Mode combinations can be customized in the AGE-R App.

Sheet Mask Boost Mode is formulated to be used over a sheet mask to help maximize the absorption of the remaining essence, supporting deeper hydration and a more radiant-looking glow.

AI Mode analyzes your skin condition and skincare habits to recommend a personalized care routine. This feature is available exclusively through the AGE-R App.

Can I use Mask Mode with a gel mask?

We recommend using Mask Mode with essence-rich sheet masks rather than gel masks. Sheet masks that contain plenty of essence help the device glide comfortably while supporting better skincare absorption. For the best experience, pair Mask Mode with medicube sheet masks.

Do I need the AGE-R App?

No. You can use the device without the app using its standard modes. However, we recommend installing the AGE-R App to access advanced features such as AI Mode, Dual Mode customization, remote control, and personalized reports.

Some features, including AI Mode and Dual Mode customization, are available only through the app.

Which app do I need?

Download the AGE-R App, create a free account, and connect your Booster Pro X2 via Bluetooth.

Does the device automatically reconnect?

Yes. Once paired, Booster Pro X2 automatically reconnects to your smartphone via Bluetooth when the device is turned on.

Can I use Booster Pro X2 every day?

Most modes are appropriate for daily use. Air Shot Mode is recommended 2–3 times per week, while the remaining modes can generally be used 1–3 times daily depending on your routine.

Which skincare products work best with Booster Pro X2?

The device works well with hydrating and nourishing skincare, such as serums, ampoules, creams, and sheet masks. For the best experience, we recommend pairing the device with medicube's PDRN, Collagen, and other moisturizing skincare lines, as well as medicube sheet masks.

If you're using products with exfoliating acids (AHA/BHA/PHA), retinol, or high concentrations of vitamin C, we recommend introducing them gradually. If you're new to these ingredients or have sensitive skin, start with lower frequency or avoid using them with the device until your skin has adjusted. Always follow the product's usage instructions.

Are there any areas I should avoid when using the device?

Yes. Avoid using the device directly over the Adam's apple (front of the neck) and do not use it too close to the eyes. For a comfortable and safe experience, always follow the recommended treatment areas and instructions in the user guide.

Is Booster Pro X2 appropriate for sensitive skin?

The device offers six adjustable intensity levels, allowing you to start at a lower level and gradually increase as your skin becomes accustomed to the treatment.

How long should each mode take?

Most treatments take about 5–10 minutes. AI Mode recommends personalized treatment times based on your skincare routine and skin condition.
